The "Islamification" of America

It sure as heck has been a while since I visited my own forum!  I've been all over the countryside of posters, though, from Facebook, to Twitter, to any web page using Disqus (however that's spelled!), though mostly Facebook. 

I recently cancelled my Facebook account, though, for political, moral, and ideological reasons.  More about that soon.

What brings me back today is an extraordinary e-mail I received that synthesizes one of the most dangerous and ignored problems our country faces today: the "Islamification" of America.

Though I can already hear the liberal howls of "racist," etc., my response is immediate:  Not hardly so don't even start!  I am not in the least intimidated by those howls -- I wasn't in 2006-2007-2008 (during the current incumbent's campaign) and I certainly will not be in 2012 -- especially when all the concerns we expressed then have proven themselves true.

I consider myself quite knowledgeable in the history of Muslims, their take over of different countries' areas, their take over of cities' neighborhoods, councils, and the insidious imposition of their control.  As always, the future is clear to those who can read the past clearly and in an unvarnished light.  Unfortunately, due to the complete liberal bent of those in control of education, "news" papers and broadcasters, the unvarnished truth is almost a completely unknown animal these days.

I admittedly have neither the time nor the energy these days to conduct the necessary research to substantiate the claim of this piece's title, but fortunately others do.  The following is adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond's book:  Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat and pretty much says it straight.

The following is a fairly short, though highly informative read, sent by a VFW Member in upstate New York where there are already "Muslim" compounds owned and restricted by Muslims.  This is spelled out in the Muslim "system," not "religion" but system.  It is mathematically accurate and defines the reasons why "co-existence" isn't possible -- simply because it is not allowed. My intent is not to inflame, but to inform; as the old saying says, "to be forewarned is to be forearmed."   

THIS, not the Chinese or the Russians, represents the greatest threat to the United States, specififcally, and to the world in general, and might be the fulfillment of the book of Revelation in the Holy Bible. 

Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.

"Islamization" begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.

When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.

Here's how it works:

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will, for the most part, be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

United States -- Muslim 0.6%
Australia -- Muslim 1.5%
Canada -- Muslim 1.9%
China -- Muslim 1.8%
Italy -- Muslim 1.5%
Norway -- Muslim 1.8%

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

Denmark -- Muslim 2%
Germany -- Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7%
Spain -- Muslim 4%
Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal ("clean" by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:

France -- Muslim 8%
Philippines -- 5%
Sweden -- Muslim 5%
Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law.
The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam, with opposition to Muhammad cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections in:

Guyana -- Muslim 10%
India -- Muslim 13.4%
Israel -- Muslim 16%
Kenya -- Muslim 10%
Russia -- Muslim 15%

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Bosnia -- Muslim 40%
Chad -- Muslim 53..1%
Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:

Albania -- Muslim 70%
Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4%
Qatar -- Muslim 77.5%
Sudan -- Muslim 70%

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:

Bangladesh -- Muslim 83%
Egypt -- Muslim 90%
Gaza -- Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1%
Iran -- Muslim 98%
Iraq -- Muslim 97%
Jordan -- Muslim 92%
Morocco -- Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan -- Muslim 97%
Palestine -- Muslim 99%
Syria -- Muslim 90%
Tajikistan -- Muslim 90%
Turkey -- Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%
Somalia -- Muslim 100%
Yemen -- Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, "peace" is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims [and all non-Muslims] for a variety of reasons.

It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos.  [Emphasis added.]  There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.

Today's 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world's population.  But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers.  Muslims will exceed 50% of the world's population by the end of this century.

A few items of note:

• Obama appoints two devout Muslims to Homeland Security posts. 
• NASA's mission has been revised from space exploration to building relationships with the Muslim world.
• Obama and Janet Napolitano appoint Arif Alikhan, a devout Muslim, as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development.
• DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano swore in Kareem Shora, a devout Muslim who was born in Damascus , Syria , as ADC National Executive Director as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC).

 A few items to think about:

• Has anyone ever heard a new government official being identified as a devout Catholic, a devout Jew or a devout Protestant?
• Devout Muslims being appointed to critical Homeland Security positions?
• Was it not "Devout Muslim men" that flew planes into U.S. buildings 10 years ago?
• Was it not a Devout Muslim who killed 13 at Fort Hood ?

Can a good, devout Muslim be a good American? This question was forwarded to a someone who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:

Theologically - no.  Because his allegiance is to Allah

Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)

 Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.

Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34)

Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression... Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. Because when we declare 'one nation under God,' the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation ... perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country.  They obviously cannot be both "good Muslims" and good Americans.  Call it what you  will, it's still the truth.  The more Americans who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.  Our country is at war, has been for longer than most Americand understand.  And even in these many post 09-11-2001 years, most Americans do not understan the extent of the religious war gathering against America:  it is bigger than most know or even understand.

Food for thought:  Given the above specifications, can a Muslim be a good American soldier?

Example:  Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, opened fire at Ft. Hood and killed 13 innocent people who happened to be, in his context, "infidels."  He is a "good Muslim."

The above is an extremely clear, and frighteningly thorough description of exactly what has occurred historically throughout the world when Muslims take over neighborhoods, cities, towns, countries.  We see it now, in various localities throughout our country.  We hear it in the decision of the circuit judge who declares that he will take Sharia into consideration when making his decisions -- in an American court of law. 

We should all be shocked, horrified, and pulling out the Constitution of the United States of America to emphatically wave in that man's and all similar people's faces.

As the liberal howls of "racist," "discriminatory," and other blather grow louder and more strident, I will ask only this:

• Will Americans start to finally stand up for our own heritage, history, customs and ideals in 2012?
• Why is it "discriminatory" and "racist" for Americans to want to maintain, sustain, and live our lives under our Constitution and not "racist" or "discriminatory" for those who detest our way of life to want to eradicate that way of life from within our own country?

This last is not specifically targeted to Muslims, but also to the encroachment from Mexican and other "latino" citizens who want us to make our American way of life subservient to theirs.

As a former legal resident of the United States, originally born in another country, and now proudly an American citizen, I would ask them: why not go back to your own country, if that way of life was so wonderful?  

Those of us who came to America to escape terrible ways of life in our native countries do not think is necessary for Muslims, Cubans, Mexicans to "share" -- rather, in truth, try to impose -- their ways of life on those of us who wish to be Americans.

Simple fact is, if we as Americans wanted to live your way of life, be it Muslim ot "latino," we would go to your countries.

Not happening, much, though is it.  Wonder why?

"Free Stuff!!"

The folks who are getting the free stuff, don't like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.

The folks who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop, and the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now ... The people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff, that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff, are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.

So ... The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff, and giving them the free stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff.

So, understand this. All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 235 years ago. The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff.

We have one chance to change that. In November 2012. 

Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

ELECTION 2012 IS COMING 
Remember:  A Nation of Sheep Breeds a Government of Wolves.


Stop being a sheep and take a stand!  These are our goals.

• Obama: Gone!
• Borders: Closed!
• Language: English only
• Culture:    The Constitution and the Bill of Rights
• Drug Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before Welfare
• NO freebies to: Non-Citizens!

Your response will be given when you make your choice in November 2012.

The future of our Republic depends on our votes.  Make it the correct vote to save our Republic.

Another Warning . . . Hope It Works, This Time

Just in case you were still wavering about who to vote for on 11/2/2010 in terms of which candidate would have the best interests of our country and We the People at heart . . . here's reminder of some "warnings" given prior to the 11/4/2008 Presidential election.

These warnings clearly described what Mr. Obama intended to impose on the country in the name of "social justice." Unfortunately, not enough of the majority listened to the warnings then . . . and here we are now.

These numbers were compiled not by me but by knowledgeable individuals. Don't just take my/their word for it . . . go do your own research; this information is (still) easily accessible online and elsewhere. Then, do what you must do now to prepare yourselves and your families for the continuing financial destruction of our country -- IF we don't start to make drastic and dramatic changes to the Congress on 11/2/2010.

Take a look at this list and see for yourself whether or not the warnings in 2008 about Mr. Obama and his plans were accurate before the 2008 elections.

If you do see how accurate the warnings were then, please heed them now and make sure to vote for the best qualified candidates who will really "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic" as opposed to those who continue to want to "fundamentally transform" our Country into a Socialist State.

If you do not see the accuracy of the warnings from 2008 and are not even more frightened than you should have been, then, maybe where we are now is where you feel our Country should be . . .

INTERESTING DATA ON TAXES

This is something you should be aware of so you don't get blind-sided. This is really going to catch a lot of families off guard. It should make you worry.

These were the proposed changes in taxes to take effect after the 2008 General election according to each candidate:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN: 0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain did not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA:   28% tax on profits from ALL home sales.

This, of course, is dependent on whether one can even sell one's house at all. We pulled our house off the market in early 2009. We're just going to wait to see if the market value ever breaks even with the mortgage balance one of these years, (ideally before we pay it off).

How does this affect the country?

If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your "capital gain" profits in taxes.  Those "profits" are generally what allow people to put a substantial down payment on the next, ideally upgraded, house.  If this tax stays, better rethink upgrading to a larger or "nicer" home . . .ever.

If you are heading toward retirement (as millions of us are) and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. In addition to those who simply want to "upgrade" to another home, this will particularly adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

Add this to the $500,000 cut in Medicare funds along with the administration's concerted efforts to destroy all the "Medicare advantage plans" (such as Humana), and the forthcoming taxes from the "health care reform" plan, senior citizens had better prepare very quickly to be able to take care of themselves by themselves. Those of us who are quickly heading to that category had better pay close attention, too.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change was proposed)

OBAMA 39.6% increase

How will this affect you?

If you have any money invested in stock market -- and most of us do in one way or another: IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes president.

The experts predict that 'higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains' would crash the stock market yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.

In case you missed it, this take over was implemented in August/September 2010 when the government passed regulations on individual retirement accounts.

INCOME TAX -- These were related to the supposed Bush Tax Cuts "for the rich" that Obama claims are "unfair to the middle class." It seems to me, dummy that I may be, that when 01/01/2011 rolls around and the current tax levels have been allowed to expire by our cowardly representatives, ALL taxpayers will get quite a hit in the financial gut, whether or not we are "rich" by any one's definition.

The current tax rates that have been in place for 10 years are:

* Single person making 30K/year pays $4,500/year in taxes

* Single person making 50K/year pays $12,500/year in taxes

* Single person making 75K/year pays $18,750/year in taxes

* Married couple making 60K/year pays $9,000/year in taxes

* Married couple making 75K/year pays $18,750/year in taxes

* Married couple making 125K/year pays $31,250/year in taxes

The above does not even reflect other tax deductions such as the "earned income" tax credit for people who don't meet a certain minimum and a myriad of other deductions that used to be available to the middle class as well as the so-called "rich."

The OBAMA Tax Plan effective 01/01/2011 will be for all Americans -- NOT just the supposed big, bad "rich:"

* Single person making 30K/year will pay $8,400/year (almost double from 2010)

* Single person making 50K/year will pay $14,000/year ($1,500 increase from 2010)

* Single person making 75K will pay $23,250/year ($4,500 increase from 2010)

* Married couple making 60K will pay $16,800/year ($7,800 increase from 2010)

* Married couple making 75K/year will pay $21,000/year ($2,500 increase from 2010)

* Married couple making 125K/year will pay $38,750/year ($7,500 increase from 2010)

Under Obama your taxes will more than double! How does this affect you? No explanation needed. This is pretty straightforward.

Personally, that tax table scares the living daylights out of us.  Where are we going to have any small funds left to even survive with the bare necessities? 

This is the "social justice" and "leveling the playing field" that Mr. Obama spent two years spouting during his presidential campaign -- yes, all two years of it, not including 2008.

Is this what the majority of folks thought he was talking about?  I would say, more than likely not.  Unfortunately not enough of the regular We the People listened closely enough or paid enough attention to realize what the main was saying very clearly: "share the wealth!"

But, in case you need a hint . . .

Increased taxes mean less money in our pockets to spend on anything from keeping a roof over our heads (and all the attached costs), to a car in the driveway (and all the attached costs), to food on our tables (and all the attached costs), to clothes on our backs.

Increased taxes mean we have less money for "stuff" and "activities." (Not to go off on a tangent . . . maybe none of that matters when put in the context of the government telling us what to eat, wear, drive, and where to go for entertainment . . .)

Regardless, less spending on "stuff" and "activities" (i.e., movies, restaurants, shopping, trips, etc) means that those whose livelihoods depend on those expenditures will likely go out of business -- like the millions upon millions of small business owners who will feel the tax increases like a sledgehammer to the gut.

I do not think any one's taxes should increase. I am not proponents of class warfare and feel no animosity towards those who worked their butts off to earn their money, except for the millionaire career politicians (Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Boxer, Biden, Rangel, et al) who have made their fortunes off the backs of the taxpayers.

Those who worked hard for their money -- whatever amount they earn themselves, through the sweat of their brow -- should keep the majority portion -- not just what the government feels is "enough."

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA: Restore the inheritance tax

This reinstatement is already in place and in effect.  How does this affect you?

Many families have lost businesses, farms and ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax.

If you're just waiting for a rich uncle to die and leave you the funds, well, forget it.  You'll probably end up owing more to the government than you even inherit.  Those who leave their assets to loves ones will most likely lose these assets.

It almost makes better fiscal sense to have it buried with you!

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

As of October 2010, the majority of these taxes have either already been implemented or are on the verge of going into effect in 2011.

* New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet (related to "energy efficiency")

* New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already.  These taxes are to "encourage" the purchase of "green" vehicles . . . whenever they are supposedly affordable enough!)

* New cigarette taxes (As if force and coercion work with everyone.)

* New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity).

Obama had clearly said that energy costs would "necessarily skyrocket" when his energy plan went into effect. Although Cap-n-Tax was stalled in the Senate this time, there are lots and lots of corollary energy "regulations" already in the pipeline from the EPA.  In case you missed that . . . the EPA now no longer reports to the Congress.

* New taxes on retirement accounts

On top of the increased income taxes, inheritance taxes, investment taxes, health care taxes, and energy taxes . . .

Sounds like "Utopia" to me, don't ya think?!? A real "workers' paradise!"

And last but not least...

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries . . . you know, the ones whose government representatives come to the US for their health care. 

Wonder where they'll go now?  We better pay attention . . . that may be our only option to stay alive, too.

It's up to us now folks to make sure that this time we get it right. We have got to get rid of every single "representative" who voted to pass any of the economy destroying "plans" from late 2008, January 2009 to the end of the current 2010 Congressional session.

If we don't get the right folks up to DC starting in January 2011 and continuously from then on for years, we may as well kiss the Republic of the United States of America good-bye forever.

An open letter from actor Jon Voight to President Obama

All Americans should beg to sign their names to this letter!  It is encouraging to see that not all American voices are fearful of speaking out and of wanting to be heard.  Let us all hope and pray that the courage of those like Mr. Voight will infect the rest of us who are very afraid for the future of our country.

Let us pray and hope that we will be infected with the strength and courage to stand up and fight against those whose sole intent is to destroy our Republic.

President Obama:

You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies. You have done just the opposite. You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone's enemy — and it has resonated throughout the world. You are putting Israel in harm's way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world.

You have brought this to a people who have given the world the Ten Commandments and most laws we live by today. The Jewish people have given the world our greatest scientists and philosophers, and the cures for many diseases, and now you play a very dangerous game so you can look like a true martyr to what you see and say are the underdogs. But the underdogs you defend are murderers and criminals who want Israel eradicated.

You have brought to Arizona a civil war, once again defending the criminals and illegals, creating a meltdown for good, loyal, law-abiding citizens. Your destruction of this country may never be remedied, and we may never recover. I pray to God you stop, and I hope the people in this great country realize your agenda is not for the betterment of mankind, but for the betterment of your politics.

A Cautionary Fable: Catching Wild Pigs

A chemistry professor in a large college had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Professor noticed one young man (an exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter.

The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist government.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?'  The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.

The young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming.

When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again.

You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.

Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America. The government keeps progressively pushing us toward socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc..

While we continually lose our freedoms -- just a little at a time.

One should always remember:

• There is no such thing as a free lunch!
• A politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.
• If you see that all of this wonderful government "help" is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might want to explain it to your friends.

If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life may God help you when the gate slams shut!

This is the face of the protesters against the Arizona immigration law!  Threats to shoot policemen, extraordinarily unreasonable and completely unrealistic demands, unhesitating breaking of federal laws . . .

And T.E.A. Movement activists were called "terrorists?"

As an immigrant, now a proud naturalized American, I must ask these folks:  Where in heaven do they think they are "owed" anything from anyone?

Their behavior is an insult to all honest immigrants who came to this country legally, who worked hard for years, who made their way to the point they considered "success" for themselves and for their families.  On what possible earthly basis do they place their demands for "free" anything?

I find their demands repugnant.  Not only do they break this country's laws by coming here illegally in the first place, but on top of that breach, they have the nerve to make outrageous demands for things that even natural born Americans do not have.

On what basis on earth do they think they deserve to be "given" all those "free" things they demand?  How on earth do they think they are "owed" those things?

It is outrageous!

Worse, we have a government pandering to these extortionist demands.  President Bush had his part in it, along with Senator McCain, with their attempts in passing "amnesty," instead of enforcing established federal laws.  It is no wonder, then, that the group currently in Washington would want to merely expand on that premise to the extreme -- open the gates, disregard our own laws, let the voting blocks in!

I would say to the Mexicans in Arizona, California, and elsewhere that they should just stop their stupidity.  They are not owed a thing by this country.  If they had chosen to come to America just as millions of other immigrants chose to come here -- legally, as opposed to sneaking across the border, they would easily access all options to be successful in their lives. 

As legal aliens, they would have had the same options as all other legal immigrants who came here: follow the laws of this country, pursue happiness, and achieve whatever measure of success your own efforts and hard work permit.  Whatever they desire for themselves they can work for and attain through the sweat of their brow, just as millions upon millions of immigrants have before them.

They are "owed" no more than the opportunity, just like everyone else in this country.

If they are incapable of legally achieving what they desire here, there is an entire world out there from which they can choose to try to be successful: Cuba, for instance, or Jamaica, or Iran, or Haiti ...  or, dare we even suggest it . . . Mexico?

He's Done Everything Wrong 

I think it is morally reprehensible that people like Mort Zuckerman, chairman and editor in chief of U.S. News & World Report and publisher of the New York Daily News, now start their mea culpa for their part in doing such an intense disservice to our Country! These are supposedly astute, intelligent, knowledgeable, worldly, yada-yada people to whom we "little people" are expected to look for advice and guidance!

Their concerted, intense, and brainless support of Mr. Obama (Yes we can!) as he campaigned for the presidency was base and crass: their motives were more than suspect as is being proven in recent admissions.  The goal in supporting Mr. Obama was solely to achieve the primary liberal dream of electing a black man to the high office of President of the United States of America.

The reasoning utilized, that "it was time" for a black man to be elected, supposedly to "prove" that our Country has moved past a supposed racial divide was revolting by any one's measure.  As I noted to several friends who succumbed to the kumbyah moment, it is just as dishonest and racist to elect a person just because he is black, as it is to not elect someone solely on that basis.

In the case of Mr. Obama, there were millions, mountains of solid, reasonable, non-race based reasons not to elect him, but thanks to Mr. Zuckerman and his cohorts in the press, their only intent was to put a black face in the White House, at any cost, for any reason.

During 2006, 2007, and 2008, in what has to be the longest presidential campaign on record, it did not matter in the least to professionals such as Mr. Zuckerman, and capitalists such as Oprah Winfrey and the gaggle of successful, rich Hollywood supporters what this man was preaching.  At the time, everything was "tingles" down one's leg and a breathless, almost orgasmic reaction to a clearly empty suit.

Well, here we have the results.  In less than 18 months as President, Mr. Obama and his cabal have practically destroyed our economy, our health care system, our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.  Mr. Zuckerman and his "peeps" are now scrambling to justify the unjustifiable.  There was no earthly reason to elect this man in the first place -- except that he would be the first black president!  A thoroughly racist premise, as far as I'm concerned.

Now, we are expected to simply accept that a man such as Zuckerman did not discern a hint of a problem when he heard Mr. Obama tell Joe Wurzelbacher that he would have to "share the wealth"??  This comment was among the most telling of the many made by Mr. Obama that clearly, starkly, and frighteningly stated his most fundamental position: socialism.

We are now expected to believe that a supposed capitalist such as Zuckerman did not immediately see the meaning of that response? We are to accept that the legions of "stars" and "celebrities," all intense capitalists themselves -- as proven by their wealth -- did not understand what Mr. Obama represented??

When Mr. Obama prattled on about "fundamentally changing" our Country, did it not occur to a supposedly successful journalist (I use that term very loosely, of course) such as Mr. Zuckerman to ask a silly little question such as, "How do you expect to do that?"

Oh no!  No such uncomfortable, disconcerting questions were asked; the response then, would not need to be examined, nor would the motivations behind their intent to elect Mr. Obama need to be examined.  Much, much easier to just turn off one's brain and succumb to the "good feelings" exuded by Mr. Obama's extraordinary (or so we were told) rhetoric.

I would remind Mr. Zuckerman and his ilk that a solid 47% of We the People did not  naively and stupidly succumb to the "celebrity power" of this man . . . those are the people to whom Mr. Zuckerman and those like him owe an immense apology. We 47% are the people truly suffering and intensely fearful of what we face and what our country faces, unless drastic changes are made in November.

Despite all the shenanigans of the likes of moveon.org, SEIU, the "new" Black Panthers, and the intense, non-stop lobbying of the blind, mindless, robotic "youth vote" by the elitists in Hollywood and Washington, Mr. Obama's win was not a "mandate to rule."  He was not elected by a "landslide;" he was not even elected by what could be termed an "overwhelming majority!"

I would strongly suggest to Mr. Zuckerman and his friends that if they truly regret their actions in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and if they truly realize the depths of their error in having supported Mr. Obama, that they put their money where their mouth is and support Conservatives for Congress in November . . . and help to save our Country from the path of total destruction on which they helped to place us.

I say, what difference does it make?  I wish I could have written this speech!

It does not, should not make the least bit of difference what race this AMERICAN is!  It only matters, as is excruciatingly clear in his words, that he is an AMERICAN who loves, and is afraid for, his country.

AT THE TEA PARTY, a black man, Dr. Donald May delivered this message from the courthouse steps in Lubbock. He electrified the audience like I haven't seen in a long time. His delivery was masterful. I am sorry you could not see him in action. Anyway, I thought you might enjoy his words. This is A Time For Courage

"Ladies and gentlemen, This is a time for courage.

"We are gathered here today on the Plains of West Texas in common purpose. We are here to remind our government that this is our country, We the People are still in charge, and our government is still our servant and not our master.

"Our Nation’s founding document is The Declaration of Independence. It tells us that our rights come from God and not from a small group of elite men and women.

"Our Constitution starts with the words “We the People.” Our Constitution was written for ordinary Americans like you and me. Our Constitution protects us from our government and from the politicians.

"Our President has complained that our Constitution gives ordinary people too much protection.He has ridiculed us for the high value we place on our Bibles, our guns, our personal property, and our liberty. He tells us we do not deserve to keep the money we have earned. We are told freedom has not worked. Personal responsibility, free enterprise, and Liberty have not been effective. Our government will now make more of our decisions for us. Other than our military, I can think of not one government agency I have ever found to be helpful.

"And speaking of our military, how about those Navy Seals blowing the heads off those three terrorist pirates? Don’t you just wish our entire government would function with such efficiency, professionalism, and courage? We watch in disbelief as our beloved United States is weakened economically, militarily, and morally by a radical President and his eager accomplices. "Volunteer to work on our 2010 Census. Confront ACORN. Keep our Census honest. We must not all ow our President to take control of our Census for his political advantage.

E Pluribus Unum

As a child of LEGAL immigrants who worked hard, learned English, learned about this country, and assimilated into this Country -- without losing our own identity -- I heartily concur with Representative McClintock.  As a naturalized American citizen, I find it to be the proverbial breath of fresh air to see a representative of our American government have the courage of his convictions and patriotism.

I would think that the American people who love and are proud of their country would loudly denounce the insults offered by the President of Mexico as he addressed Congress!  It is bad enough that our own liberal representatives are so eager to acquiesce to and support all insults to our Country, but now we have presidents of other countries who see nothing wrong in standing in front of our own legislative bodies and insult the country straight out.

And, we were treated to the revolting sight of the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and half the Congress applauding the insults!

It is about time that sincere, patriotic representatives in the House and Senate start standing up for, and defending, our Country.  Lord knows, if they, who have the power, the voice, and the pulpit to do so do not say this loudly and strongly . . . who will?

We the People, with what little voice we do have, have been roundly ignored by Mr. Obama and his cohorts.  It is past time that at least one strong, patriotic voice is heard!

A Response to President Calderon

Rep. Tom McClintock gave this speech in response to President Calderon's lecture to Congress. Given in the House Chamber, Washington, D.C. May 20, 2010.


M. Speaker:

I rise to take strong exception to the speech of the President of Mexico while in this chamber today.

The Mexican government has made it very clear for many years that it holds American sovereignty in contempt and President Calderon’s behavior as a guest of the Congress confirms and underscores this attitude.

It is highly inappropriate for the President of Mexico to lecture Americans on American immigration policy, just as it would be for Americans to lecture Mexico on its laws.

It is obvious that President Calderon does not understand the nature of America or the purpose of our immigration law.

Unlike Mexico’s immigration law -- which is brutally exclusionary -- the purpose of America’s law is not to keep people out. It is to assure that as people come to the United States, they do so with the intention of becoming Americans and of raising their children as Americans.

Unlike Mexico, our nation embraces immigration and what makes that possible is assimilation.

A century ago President Teddy Roosevelt put it this way. He said:

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language ... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

 That is how we have built one great nation from the people of all the nations of the world.

The largest group of immigrants now comes from Mexico. A recent RAND study discovered that during most of the 20th Century, while our immigration laws were actually enforced, assimilation worked and made possible the swift attainment of the American dream for millions of immigrants seeking to escape conditions in Mexico.

That is the broader meaning of our nation’s motto, “E Pluribus Unum” – from many people, one people, the American people.

But there is now an element in our political structure that seeks to undermine that concept of “E Pluribus Unum.” It seeks to hyphenate Americans, to develop linguistic divisions, to assign rights and preferences based on race and ethnicity, and to elevate devotion to foreign ideologies and traditions, while at the same time denigrating American culture, American values and American founding principles.

In order to do so, they know that they have to stop the process of assimilation. In order to do that, they must undermine our immigration laws.

It is an outrage that a foreign head of state would appear in this chamber and actively seek to do so. And it is a disgrace that he would be cheered on from the left wing of the White House and by many Democrats in this Congress.

Arizona has not adopted a new immigration law. All it has done is to enforce existing law that President Obama refuses to enforce. It is hardly a radical policy to suggest that if an officer on a routine traffic stop encounters a driver with no driver’s license, no passport, and who doesn’t speak English, that maybe that individual might be here illegally.

And to those who say we must reform our immigration laws – I reply that we don’t need to reform them – we need to enforce them. Just as every other government does. Just as Mexico does.

Above all, this is a debate of, by and for the American people. If President Calderon wishes to participate in that debate, I invite him to obey our immigration laws, apply for citizenship, do what 600,000 LEGAL immigrants to our nation are doing right now, learn our history and our customs, and become an American. And then he will have every right to participate in that debate.

Until then, I would politely invite him to have the courtesy while a guest of this Congress to abide by the fundamental rules of diplomacy between civilized nations not to meddle in each other’s domestic debates.

Repeating the Mistakes of the Past

Clearly, the lessons of the past, unbridled government spending, increasing deficits, government control and attempts to destroy our Constitution. Our Country survived the previous attempts to destroy our history, our Country, our Constitution, and our future . . .

We must ensure that we survive the current attempts to destroy us as a Country.  Our last chance, I truly feel and fear, is November, 2010.

This is our last chance to fight against the machine from Chicago that is working intensely to bring every single liberal dream on their decades long wish list to fruition, regardless of the ever-growing mountain of evidence that the majority of the American people have never wanted their brand of "governance" -- not then, and not now.

This is our last chance to tell the liberal machines that our Country is a Republic, a country of laws, with a Constitution and a Bill of Rights applicable to all American citizens (and legal residents). 

This is our last chance to show the liberal machines that we do love and are proud of our Country and our History as it is, warts and ugliness and all.  We must emphatically reject the culture of the left that requires a wholesale and dishonest revision of who we are as a Country and as Americans.

This is our last chance to leave a legacy of truth to the next generations of Americans and show them how we survived as pilgrims, as daring adventurers forging routes into wild, unknown territories, as slaves and slave owners (parts of every country's history), as warriors in a Civil War, and our arrival as a whole country with a common history and a common foundation of Truths that we believe.

This is our last chance to retain and maintain our Sovereignty as a Country, without submitting to the yoke of "global governance" so desired by the liberals for some unfathomable reason.  We are not a colony in a "global" liberal, European-controlled world.

It would appear that there are enough reasons to look "over there" and decide that we Americans do not want or need to be "like them."  There are infinite reasons to reject the demands of the left that we submit to the will of the Europeans, from the cultural problems they have created for themselves to the economic problems they are trying to completely blame on America.

Lord knows, we've made enough economic mistakes ourselves, thanks in no small part to the influence, control, and demands of the liberals in our own Congress.  We certainly do not need to be additionally "guided" by the failed policies of the Europeans.

We are Americans.  We have been since the inception and creation of this country.  We have maintained our identity and independence as a country for 234 years!  We cannot allow 4 short years of an extremely liberal administration to destroy everything our Country has worked for, bled for, and died to achieve.

We must stop the liberal, European-influenced machine from completely destroying everything Americans have worked so very hard for so very long to achieve.

We must not allow America to go the way of Europe!

Does the N.E.A. Really Need More Money?

This is a fascinating and extremely frightening report of the state of education in one of the largest -- and most liberal -- states in the country.

This is the type of environment that the Federal Department of Education has created with its deterioration of standards over the past many years.  For this, the Department is continuously demanding more of our tax dollars?

The following is a letter written by a real teacher in the California school system.  Her pleas should resound with all of us; all of our tax dollars are included in paying for this outrageous situation which is doubtlessly repeated in many areas throughout the country.

As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things of which you should be aware:

I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels.

Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.

Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say "free breakfast,"  I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll -- but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten.

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids.

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America.

I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students, here in the country less than 3 months, who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them "Putas" (whores) and throwing things, that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical, free education, free food, free day care, etc., etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges, and entitlements?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases. For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.

Americans, We need to wake up.

Illegal immigration has nothing to do with "cheap labor." It does, however, have everything to do with culture: It involves an American third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate, and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about “political correctness” that we don't have the will to do anything about it.

To listen to the rantings and blame placing of many liberals, it would appear that "CHEAP LABOR" is the basis for all of this.  Isn't that what they claim the whole immigration issue is about?  The liberal excuse for allowing Mexicans to enter and remain as illegal immigrants is to put the blame on:

--  Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.

--  Consumers don't want expensive produce.

--  Americans who supposedly don't want the jobs.

The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor."  It is merely another method used by the liberals to try to "shame" opponents into submitting to their demands.

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.   (Most of the illegal aliens are greatly encouraged by many immigration activities organizations to do just that.)

• He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.  Mu husband and I had once visited a "Section 8" condominium when we were looking for an apartment.  It was a beautiful place, large, well-laid out, and unbelievably cheap!  We were told we could not possibly qualify for that type of apartment because, between the two of us at the time, we earned approximately $32,000 a year because we both worked and paid our own way.  However, if we were willing for at least one of us to quit our job we could easily qualify.  We refused to join the ranks of the moochers.
• He qualifies for food stamps.
• He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.
• His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.
• He requires bilingual teachers and books. (No other immigrant children receive 'special education' in their native language -- not French, German, or Hindi; only Spanish.)
• He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.
• If they are, or become, aged, blind, or disabled, they qualify for SSI. If qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicaid. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.
• He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.
• Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins, and printed material.
• He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

By contrast, working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6..00/hour left after paying their bills and his.

This is what the liberals call "cheap labor"?  I emphatically beg to disagree with that description!  What the liberals are looking for, and determined to get through this open borders mentality is a voting block of grateful residents, whether legal or not, who would be placed immediately on the track for citizenship (to allow them to vote).

"Cheap labor"?  I think not!  More like "cheap, ignorant votes."

These are the questions we should address to the Congressional Members of either party.   When they lie to us and DON'T DO AS THEY SAY, WE MUST REPLACE THEM.

Candidates' perspectives on immigration legislation must be considered in 2010.

If the candidate supports the "open borders" or "amnesty," he or she should immediately be discarded from consideration, whether Republican or Democrat.  Our Country has always welcomed immigrants, but this premise of just open the barn doors, let everyone in, never mind whether or immigration laws are followed is unacceptable.

Just as unacceptable is to have half the representatives of the American people stand up to applaud the president of the country most responsible for breaking immigration laws when he chastises us for adhering to our own laws.  Those selected representatives of the people should be removed at the earliest possible moment: November 2010.

If anyone still wonders why this is important, look around you and see how it has already been detrimental to working Americans, our economy and our American culture and heritage.

Institutionalized Hypocrisy

This past week we have witnessed intense reactions from the Administration and their supporters regarding the law passed in Arizona against illegal immigration.

The immediate reactions from the exalted heights of the Presidency straight on through the Congress, down to the liberal left was to quickly and vociferously condemn the law as "racist," "dangerous," having the potential -- potential, mind you -- to lead to racial profiling. 

Those were the nice comments!

On top of the many ridiculous and close to hysterical reactions came the admissions, in Congressional testimony, of several administration officials, Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder most notably, that they had not even read the law at all.

As hypocritical and base this may be, it appears to be completely in line with their ideology to automatically condemn a law, or anything else they chose to perceive as "wrong," no matter whether they even have factual information about it.

Whatever happened to "Just the facts, Ma'am?"  Or, as simplistic as it may be, what about, "Look before you leap?"

That concept appears to be gravely missing in the mentality of the administration under which our country currently labors.  It appears more clearly than ever that their intent is nothing less than to denigrate, lie about, misrepresent, distort, and possibly ultimately destroy anyone who has the gall to act against them.  It is increasingly undeniable, even after having witnessed Mr. Obama's infamous "Apology Tour," that those who are currently in charge are only interested in one thing: to literally bow to any other power that appears to be contrary to America, from China to Mexico.

I am sure that the majority of those who voted for "Change" in November 2008 did not have any expectation that the "change" would lead to this. 

We now have an administration following in the footsteps of their rabid supporters.  The extreme left has used the methodology of "destroy to conquer" ever since the appearance of Mr. Obama as presidential candidate.  This methodology was made official throughout the campaign when any suggestion or hint of disagreement was deemed "racist."  It was brought to extremes during the attacks against the T. E. A. movement demonstrations (described as terrorists and "astroturf" by Nancy Pelosi).  It was glaringly apparent in Mr. Obama's automatic (shall we say "knee-jerk"?) reaction to the altercation between his Harvard professor friend and the Boston policeman.

Today, it is taken to the depths of hypocrisy by these two highly placed administration officials who are more than ready to destroy a sovereign state of our great country because the lawmakers in that state dare to attempt to take care of an intensely difficult problem -- without following the dictates of the administration.

Soon after, comes the proverbial salt in the wound:  once again, we have the President of the United States of America, a sovereign country, kowtowing to the president of Mexico about illegal immigration, providing a soapbox (an address to Congress) for that individual to insult and tear down our country.

When one thinks about it . . . we should not be surprised that many in Congress applauded the insults to our laws and our states.  Hasn't Mr. Obama himself been insulting our laws, our country, and our history ever since he set foot on the road as a candidate?  Is it any wonder that foreigners now feel perfectly immune to repercussions if they do the same?

It is hard for me to believe that the numbers of Americans who voted this man and his cronies into power do not feel even the slightest measure of discomfort at hearing their own country torn down from the well of the Congress.  But, at the same time, I have to admit that it is merely a parroting by a stranger of what a great many Americans have done for many years.

We should not be surprised, I guess.

Woody Allen: First Vote for "Dictator Obama"

It is not surprising at all that an individual such as Woody Allen would make such a statement.

He is -- and has always been -- a perfect example of the elite left who disdains all who do not agree with his and his comrades' views.  I have never been able to get through more than perhaps the first 20 minutes or so of any Allen movie and have never  understood their attraction.  Yet, for the elite left, his movies are the most "intelligent," "high-minded," "extraordinary," and yadda-yadda, etc. "ever made."

Allen's statement is all too easy to understand.  As exemplified in Germany under Hitler, in Italy under Mussolini, in Haiti under Duvalier, and in countless other countries under countless other dictators, those who mindlessly and unquestioningly agree with and support dictatorships are always the ones who have an intense, dishonest desire to be "on top," "in control," and "in charge" -- supposedly because they "know best!"  Those are always the ones who merely want "power" to be able to do as they wish, whatever that may be.  Their dishonest and base evil mentality is always reflected in their immediate desire to silence others and deny the same rights they enjoy to any who disagree with them.

It appears that Allen clearly sees that his possible resurgence, his potential future as a powerful film maker would be limitless as a fawning sycophantic supporter of an Obama "Regime," in the same way Leni Riefenstahl, Hitler's film maker, glorified the reign of that particular madman and acquired great power for herself (at least for a while).  I would not at all be surprised if she was Allen's "hero."

Regardless of the above, because of our Bill of Rights, our Constitution and our adherence to the Rule of American Law, Allen and his kind cannot and should not be stopped from spouting idiocies and stupidities.  The rest of us, however, can, should and must speak loudly and emphatically against him and his comrades.

We must maintain our voices just as loudly and just as clearly as the left.  As in the current battles about immigration, school text books, government spending and takeovers, we must not allow ourselves to be intimidated or browbeaten into silence.  To allow that to happen would be to pave the very path desired by Allen and his ilk -- directly to a dictatorship.

Once we allow our freedom of speech to be destroyed, our Country is destroyed as well.
We must steadfastly support, speak for, and represent our Country and our Constitution and our Bill of Rights always.

Arizona

I very much doubt that when Neil Diamond sang Arizona there was anyone in the country who would have imagined the outrageous events that have recently occurred because of that state's legal actions.

One of the very best things about our Country is Freedom of Speech which protects every citizen's right to protest, yell, jump up and down, march, wave signs around, and all around complain vociferously about our government's actions or inaction, as the case may be.

So far, so good.  Nothing about that inherent, inalienable right should be changed.  I pray to God nothing ever causes that right to be abridged.

However!  There are limits to protests, regardless of the inalienable rights afforded all American citizens and legal residents by our Constitution.

One of those limits has been breached most egregiously by the inane actions of the City of Los Angeles.  They, and others of the liberal ilk, have essentially declared economic war on the state of Arizona.  Why?  For the simple reason that Arizona passed a law requiring and reiterating that Federal Laws regarding legal immigration be adhered to.

How outrageous!  How outlandish that a state is being threatened by other localities for not only following but enhancing long-standing, existing Federal Law!  How incredible that a state should threaten another state, that elected officials in Congress should take to the airwaves to denigrate Arizona for following Federal Law.

Come to think of it, there's really nothing so incredible about it.  It is, merely, just one more example of the liberal perspective of "anything goes" . . . as long as the advantage is theirs and supports their ultimate agenda.

The liberals in Los Angeles and a few other places throughout the country are up at arms in reaction to Arizona's immigration law which merely requires LEGAL immigrants to be able to prove LEGAL RESIDENCY should they be stopped for LEGAL REASONS.

For those of you who are not up on these kinds of things, here's the "Cliff Notes" version of LEGAL immigration procedure.

A foreigner (anyone born in a country other than the United States, in simple terms) who wishes to come to this country will apply for a  document called a "visa."  This document can be issued as a "student visa" or as a "tourist visa."  Both types have specific lengths of time during which they are in effect.  It is (or, at least used to be) the responsibility of government agencies to ensure that neither type of foreigner overstays the length of the visa. 

No matter the length, in general, one always had the option of applying for extensions upon providing proof of the reason for requesting the extension, for example, more classes needed or the tourist did not get to go to the Grand Canyon on a mule.

Government entities (formerly the INS, currently ICE, for example) have the responsibility to ensure that all visas are monitored and remain in compliance.  Those same entities, upon determining that a visa holder was out of compliance, have the responsibility to locate and then send the foreigner home.

This, by the way, is standard operating procedure for all countries of the world.  Some handle the process a bit more nicely and courteously than others . . . compare, say, England's procedure to Iran's.

All foreigners, once they enter our country LEGALLY, always have the option to apply for permanent LEGAL residency.  There are various ways to do this, depending on situations and the countries from which the foreigners come.  All ways end in the foreigner being issued appropriate documentation of LEGAL residency:  the "green card."

Existing laws also require that LEGAL residents always carry their "green cards," in the same way that AMERICAN CITIZENS are always required to carry identification.  See how that works?  American citizens carry ID, Legal Residents carry ID.  Simple.

What, may I ask, is either "discriminatory" or "racist" about that?

I will NOT accept the response that "brown" people will be more subject to questioning than non-brown people because of the Arizona law!  That is a ridiculous and racist comment in and of itself.  It is merely a way for the left to browbeat any opposition into silence by the threat of being branded "racist."  (Clearly, that threat has worked for years, why would they stop now?  It got Mr. Obama elected, didn't it?) 

Common sense states that if "brown" people of any background commit more illegal acts than others that bring them to the attention of authorities, then of course they will be more subject to questioning!  However, one must never try to insert logic into any liberal methods; it just does not compute.

In even more simple terms, for those who refuse to accept facts:  If an ILLEGAL alien commits a crime of any kind, from running a red light to acting as a drug mule, that is already breaking our law.  At the point of contact with police authorities, the authorities can and should require proof of LEGAL RESIDENCY for any reason that causes suspicion, such as, for example, a number of individuals in a car or van, driving late at night on a back road, none of whom can speak a syllable of English.

How difficult is that concept?

To listen to the liberals and our esteemed Mr. Obama, however, the law does nothing less than allow jackbooted thugs to invade ice-cream parlors in order to drag any "brown" individual (and their poor, innocent child, of course!) kicking and screaming to the nearest gulag!

Why are reasonable, thinking Americans so hesitant to label that claim stupid and absurd?

Worse than the above idiocy is the reaction of many Republicans who have started to scramble desperately to justify their mild and timid support for the law.  That is not the manner in which such outrageously stupid assertions should be responded to. We need strong legislators who will not fold at the first sign of protest from the left.  We need legislators who will stand true to America, our laws, and our Constitution in everything and NOT allow themselves to be browbeaten into weak submission because of the illogical, inaccurate (lies) rantings of a loud and obnoxious group.

This has got to stop!  We, Americans, must realize that "open borders" is merely the fast track to complete destruction of our heritage, our history, and our identity as AMERICANS.

Mexicans should no more be excused from meeting the requirements of this law than should Haitians (many of whom have "brown" skin), West Indians in general (--ditto--), Hindus (--ditto--) and countless other nationalities who fall under the "brown" category.

My family and I emigrated from the West Indies over 40 years ago.  We followed the rules and requirements of LEGAL entry into this country as was required of all who hoped to enter at the time.  Our entire family came, even though my Dad had to wait an additional year before he was able to join the rest of the family.  We spent over 35 years carrying our "green card" with us at all times, and were proud to present it to any who requested it, because we were proud LEGAL residents.

Was that discriminatory or "racist" because some of my family are "brown," others are "black," and still others in my family are almost "white"?

No, it was not!

The premise is really simple:  there are rules and laws in place that are to be followed by ALL immigrants to this country.  Once in this country, there are rules and regulations applicable to ALL immigrants that must also be followed.

Why on earth would we want to welcome a group of people -- no matter what their skin color -- who prove even before coming into the country that they have no regard for our laws?

More insane is the thought that there are elected officials, sworn to uphold the laws of this country, who are actively aiding and abetting the breaking of laws.  Mr. Xavier Bacerra, among others, has been on national TV ranting and raving about the "dangers" of following Federal Law.  I have to wonder if he ever accepted, truly accepted, the oath he took as a Representative of the US House of Representatives to support and uphold the Constitution of the United States of America -- as opposed to the Mexican states.

Additional insanity is added to the mix by the rantings of the so-called history "professor" who stands in front of a group of students and clearly incites his listeners to overthrow our government!  I doubt that "speech" got much airtime, though.  Our esteemed liberal media outlets are much too busy chasing seniors at T. E. A. Parties to report on this event!

On top of  this unsightly heap of stupidity (just for the moment, I'm sure) is the gall of the Chicago-area High school administrators' choice to punish the girls' basketball team by forbidding them to attend a tournament which they earned through their own hard work and dedication -- because the tournament is held in Arizona.

I suppose nothing is too important not to be sacrificed at the altar of liberalism!

Does anyone else not see the outrageousness of a school's making a blatant political statement at the cost of the students they are there to teach, support, and guide?

Does anyone else not see the blatant stupidity of our elected officials' refusing to tell the truth about legislation, strictly because of their own political agenda?

It is past time to say: Enough, already! 

We who are honest, sincere, hardworking Americans must stand up to these people and emphatically refuse to accept their lies, misrepresentations, and their agenda -- no matter who they are.
