Words from "The Commander in Chief"

This is in support of everyone who may have a family member giving honorable service to our country and us. Our niece is proudly serving our country and appears to want to make a career of it, God bless her! It is insulting that her "Commander in Chief" should have such low regard for all those who are in uniform.

I doubt very much that this is what the majority of those who voted for Mr. Obama expected, and I hope this shocks them into realizing what they did on 11/04/08.

Let us pray and "hope for change" starting in the mid-term elections next year, and complete the "change" in 2012.

These are some thoughts from a concerned American . . .

Unbelievable President

"THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENT EVER MADE BY A PUBLIC OFFICIAL LET ALONE BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.  AND THIS GUY IS OUR "COMMANDER IN CHIEF".  HE IS A DISGRACE.

HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO LET THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES.

"Bad press," including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart (MCzwz notes: a very liberal and strong supporter of Mr. Obama's), led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute..."

"I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country,” Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."
 MCzwz thinks:
This carries through the theme established in the campaign that Americans who complain about being overtaxed are "selfish," "unpatriotic, and "potential domestic terrorists." That is the description applied by Mr. Obama and his administration to those of us who are extremely concerned about being able to just live, pay our bills, and maybe rent a movie with whatever little is left of our paychecks after paying our unending taxes . . . we are all "selfish!"
Here again, none of this is too surprising, as this was expressed for all to see in the campaign by both Mr. Obama ("share the wealth!") and his Vice President ("It's patriotic to pay taxes.") Perhaps, it is a bit starker, more insulting, to hear it continuously re-stated . . . especially in the light of patriotic Americans' expressing themselves, disagreeing with the government as is their Constitutional right . . . and being called "mobs," and "extremists," among other things, by their own government.
Add all this to the fact that all disagreement and dissent with the current administration is deemed to be "racist," it is no surprise to hear this kind of talk from Mr. Obama.
Our Concerned American continues . . .

Please pass this on to every one including every vet and their families whom you know. How in the world did a person with this mind set become our leader? I didn't vote for him!!!

REMEMBER THIS STATEMENT (from Mr. Obama)....

"Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?

If this person thinks he will ever get another vote from an Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard service member or veteran of a military service he ought to think it over.

If you or a family member is or has served their country please pass this to them. Please pass this to everyone.

I'm guessing that most everyone other than the 20-25 percent hardcore liberals in the US will agree that this is just another example why this is the worst president in American history.

Remind everyone over and over how this man thinks, while he bows to the Saudi Arabian king.

MCzwz Thinks:

Please remind everyone, too, whether they voted for him or not, that in order to save our country, we MUST make a dramatic, drastic "change" in 2010 followed by an even more resounding "change" in 2012.

We can fix this. There is a lot of work to do to get our so-called "representatives" back on the right track. It is not too late -- yet.

1) Write, phone, fax your representatives and senators to keep the so-called "health care reform" bill dead and keep our health care out of the government's hands. The sensible thing is for the government to simply create yet another government entity through which the government can force the "47 million uninsured" to accept government healthcare coverage . . . and leave the rest of us, who are satisfied with our coverage alone.

Please also inform everyone you know of the other aspects of this bill. It is NOT just about "extending access to healthcare" as is it being advertised . . . According to an article in OneNewsNow.com, a Catholic pro-life leader calls H.R. 3200 the "Planned Parenthood economic stimulus package." We should all be outraged at the planned use of our hard-earned tax money.

Thomas Euteneuer, president of Human Life International, refers to a little-known section of the bill H.R. 3200: "Title V Other Provisions, Subtitle B, School-Based Health Clinics" on pages 992 through 1,000. This section of the bill deals with the creation of School-based Health Clinics that are to be set up in or near public schools [by Planned Parenthood]. "Kids will be taken into school clinics beyond the authority of their parents, and all  . . . indoctrination will go on. Sex ed will be given, I'm sure, very generously through these in schools as well," Euteneuer contends. "There will probably be very little oversight, and so Planned Parenthood will get away with murder as usual, and that will continue to form the feeder system for Planned Parenthoods abortion clinics."

This is not what our tax money is supposed to be used for by our government. Those who support abortion may contribute directly to Planned Parenthood, if that is what they want. They, along with all other nonprofit organizations may apply to the government for grants and subsidies (also our tax dollars) but they do not deserve to be directly funded through a bill presented to the American people as specific for our "health care." The government does not have the right to directly allocate our tax dollars to the support of an organization that a great many Americans do not support.

It is an even more disturbing, not to say revolting, realization when one knows that the monies intended to be allocated by the current administration are nothing more than payback to Planned Parenthood for their very vocal and active support of Mr. Obama's candidacy and election campaign (side-by-side with ACORN, HCAN, Moveon.org, and other notorious liberal groups). Write, phone, fax your representatives to get them to not allow abortion on demand to be slipped into any final version of any bill.

2) Write, phone, fax your representatives and senators to put the final nail in the coffin of the "cap and trade" bill (aka Waxman-Markey bill) before it puts the final nail into America's economic coffin. According to The Wall Street Journal in June, "The hit to GDP (gross domestic product) is the real threat in this bill. The whole point of cap and trade is to hike the price of electricity and gas so that Americans will use less (electricity). These higher prices will show up not just in electricity bills or at the gas station but in every manufactured good, from food to cars. Consumers will cut back on spending, which in turn will cut back on production, which results in fewer jobs created or higher unemployment. Some companies will instead move their operations overseas, with the same result."
If one follows this thread to its logical conclusion . . . our country may well be on the path to complete economic destruction if this "cap-and-trade" bill goes into effect. The Wall Street Journal continues: "[a] better indicator might be what other countries are already experiencing. Britain's Taxpayer Alliance estimates the average family there is paying nearly $1,300 a year in green taxes for carbon-cutting programs in effect only a few years."
There is evidence all around the world that countries that adopted similar plans very quickly repealed them: Australia is one. They immediately saw the folly in the premise that there is a methodology to tax producers for their so-called "carbon [dioxide] emissions." One wonders, when looking at this premise, when individual human beings will also be subject to this tax . . . after all, we each emit carbon dioxide with every exhalation we emit.
3) Please write, phone, and fax your senators and representatives to demand they stop attempting to destroy the Constitution of the United States, most specifically, our Bill of Rights. Attempts are on going throughout the country to curtail the Second Amendment (our right to bear arms to protect ourselves), and there is a concerted effort from the liberal community to shut down any dissent or disagreement by destroying the First Amendment (right to free speech). Their attacks on individuals (specifically conservative talk radio) will also affect each of us who ever wants to express our disagreement with this administration.

Please keep in mind the most recent plan to abridge our right to free speech. The newest government "czar" will control the internet and will have the power and authority to shut down the entire communications system whenever the government deems there is an "emergency that threatens national security." Those of us who disagree with the government have already been labeled "domestic terrorists" by Nancy Pelosi, Henry Reid and others . . . how much more will they need to declare that what we say and type and share on the internet is a "threat to national security," and therefore must be shut down? Shutting down the free-flow of communications and expressions of disagreement and dissent is the first, strong, emphatic step to Socialism.

All of these things, should they be passed into law under the current liberal administration, will have drastic effects on all our lives. Worse, these things, should they be passed into law, will not be easily repealed when a new administration comes into power. That is why we must do everything we can now to stop them -- before they are written into law.

Our country may not survive should we have to go through a period of time, no matter how short, with any of these iniquities in effect. Please work hard to save our country from destruction.

The President Without A Country

By Pat Boone

--  "We're no longer a Christian nation." - President Barack Obama, June 2007

--  "America has been arrogant." - President Barack Obama

--  "After 9/11, America didn't always live up to her ideals."- President Barack Obama

--  "You might say that America is a Muslim nation."- President Barack Obama, Egypt 2009

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of.

In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!"

The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed."

And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he fore swore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are.

But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?"

You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president.

You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"?

In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian."

Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson' s intent with that statement?

Or, wait a minute . Were your ideas about America 's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that " America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that " America has been arrogant"?

Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be "considered a Muslim nation"?

Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"?

Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers.

Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran? Even in Egypt? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"?

It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize.

Could it be you are a president without a country?
